25k words in and working on my chapter 5 in my book! Whooo!
I REALLY liked writing in Talianna and Rhea’s perspective! If you want a bonus, Rhea’s song to me is PROTECTOR (feat. Rumi Carter) by Beyonce off Cowboy Carter. I listen to it when I write for her more than any others.
I definitely want to go back once I’m done with my part 1 and try to bring up some of my descriptions, characterizations of Warren, some plot points, and other details. However, this is genuinely a project that I’m really loving and I feel like I’m getting more passionate about over time, as well as more consistent! I’m editing and writing about a thousand words a day on average, which is exactly where I’m hoping I’ll be.
The big test will be whether I can keep it up when school starts. I really hope so!
I’m trying to make epub work better and maybe eventually put up some art/refine this website, but that’s all stuff on the backburner while I’m writing. I really appreciate everyone reading and sharing their thoughts, it means a lot. Remember that if you sign up for emails then I’ll email you updates to chapters. This is so early in the process for me and I’ve never let anyone see it before, but it’s absolutely doing WONDERS for my motivation and work ethic, so it’s something I’ll keep doing. It’s like early editors/reviewers and I’m having a great time.
Onto chapters 5 and 6! I have a solid idea about chapter 5, and loose ideas about chapter 6. Part 1 will conclude either in Chapter 6 or Chapter 7. I’m currently guessing Chapter 7. We’ll see how that comes to be.
